The different stacks are different doujinshi circles and fandoms. Of course, it's mostly Gundam Wing, but I also have FullMetal Alchemist and Naruto, oh and Yu Yu Hakusho and Evangelion.

I am not buying the new DS when it comes out. I like my DS Lite. You know why? Because I USE that GBA slot for OMG GBA GAMES! Well, one GBA game, Chain of Memories. BUT THAT IS A GOOD ENOUGH REASON. And I like playing Guitar Hero On Tour.

So you can go fuck yourself, and your added cameras, SD card slot, browser, and music capabilities. A lot of that stuff you probably added just because that's what homebrewers have already made.

Figured I should actually write something in my LJ that isn't about my allergies. >_>;;

Firstly, since this Friday is the first Presidential Debate between Obama and McCain (if McCain doesn't back out of it like he's currently trying to do lolz). I'm actually interested in watching it, as the topics for the evening will be centered around Foreign Affairs.

There will also be a number of Debate-Watching Parties around Riverside County. I think it would be interesting to go to one, if I can get someone to go with me. Best bet seems to be at The Winery (non-partisan, but with wine) or at the Riverside Marriott (Democrats, with a $5 fee, and cash bar, etc., as it's in the hotel).

aoi? chibi_faolan? sukino? You guys in?

I'm leaning towards The Winery (even if Republicans will be there), because it's Fruit Wine Friday, and you can sample 5 fruit wines for free, and get a discount if you buy them. >_>;; This will also be nice if I can manage to have one of my gaming-and-drinking weekends, like I've been putting off for months now (I play Guitar Hero better when I'm tipsy truefax).

I know there's been lots of squabbling about which is better, Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero World Tour. I'm not a big enough gamer geek to engage in it. All I'm saying is that my money is with Guitar Hero for one reason:

Yes. That's it. That one song sold the game to me. Though, the Jimmi Hendrix is very nice, too. But I'm not a hardcore game player like most of the people engaging in the Band Warz are. I happily plunk and squeak my way through on the Easy and Medium settings. I still like Guitar Hero better.

So I am currently at the library ~~mostly to get away from my parents~~. That is not the suck, as I planned to come here anyway and use the free and fast high speed wireless to do some things the wireless I ~~leech~~ borrow at home doesn't do well. Leeching wireless is not the suck either.

What the suck is, is that at the table next to me there is a man and woman doing something. The guy is explaining something to her, what, I don't know nor I care. However, he has this really patronizing tone, and every time he says something, he says: "True?"

Like this:

"Blah blah blah, true? *pauses to wait for the woman to nod or say yes or something like that* Blah blah blah blah, true? *pause* Blah blah, you have to blah blah blah because blah, true? *pause*"

Ad infinitum.

So, after reading reviews and checking my latest copy of EGM (which came in the mail today), I've decided NOT to buy Spore Creatures for my DS. Everyone keeps saying it's crap (mostly the graphics), or at least, more aimed at kids. I really had high hopes for it, especially with the hype around Spore in general. ;__;

Maybe I'd pick it up some other time (since some aspects of it sound fun to me), but I don't think I'd pay the $29.99 for it.

Instead, I will use my Circuit City giftcard and buy Viva Pinata Pocket Paradise instead. That game had good reviews, and I think I'd like it. I enjoy playing Rune Factory, so the taking care of a garden for my pinatas will actually be fun to me. ^^

Still waiting on Ninjatown. And Elebits. And a bunch of other games that haven't been released yet. XD;;

I've been playing Guitar Hero On Tour to try and beat it on Medium, since I finished Easy mode (including the Guitar Duel mode, so I unlocked the bonus song). I just got to the last tier, and just finished playing Ozzy Osbourne's "I Don't Wanna Stop."

........... my hand practically fell off. T___T *sob* I've stopped for now because my arms and wrist ache.

I doubt I'll be able to move onto Hard mode, unless I somehow become double-jointed. Or finish Medium at 100% for all the songs.
